Damn, I had a long response typed and got auto-logged out and lost it. Ron Paul wants to eradicate the IRS and FEMA, etc. His ideas are great if you're rich and utter shit if you're poor. It'll be Romney and Obama for 2012 and Obama will get his second term. Great speech last night.
Well FEMA needs to be changed. What Ron Paul opposes is that FEMA allows property owners to purchase insurance that private insurers will not insure. Just google "fema flood insurance scam" or "fema beach front property insurance". Yes something like FEMA is needed for national disasters...but people in states like Connecticut are paying so some rich asshole can have beach front property in California. If your near NJ just drive by the WILLOW BROOK MALL. This peace of shit floods every year. LITERALLY EVERY YEAR. They keep rebuilding that all on your taxes. FEMA should be abolished. Every state should take care of its own disaster relief. How's Texas doing? Whoops! Texas legislature cut 75% of their fire budget under the guidance of Perry. Who's coming to help Texas? Colorado, as requested by the government. The previous director resigned due to his admitted failures and the new director is doing well. Pay attention. You dig having roads to drive on? You like street lamps lighting the roads? Besides, if/when Obama passes the American Jobs act, everyone except rich folks will get a tax cut. i read BBC news every day...im yet to come across an article of ANYTHING happening in canada....and BBC reports pretty well. your country has no history.... neither does the US btw, but thats not the point. you barely have any famous people, no memorable landmarks....just ice...lots and lots of snow and ice.
